"How much is this going to cost me?" Initially, this is the most important issue for our clients. During your free consultation, attorneys fees will be discussed. Every case is different, thus requiring different levels of expertise.
Fees are collected on a 'flat-fee' basis, which means you will pay one fee for any and all services that we provide. Most attorneys charge you more than your agreed-upon fee for any additional time you may require, claiming it was unaccounted for upon your initial visit. Examples of what other attorneys may charge you additionally for include: additional appearances in court on your case*, multiple meetings with you or telephone calls from you, and/or other witnesses in the case. We will not charge additional fees for these services and provide you with unlimited access to the staff, and more importantly, toTerri herself. At the end of your free consultation, you will know exactly how much you are expected to pay, giving you peace of mind of what you'll be receiving in return.
Our fees are competitive. Paying for a compassionate and competent attorney like Terri can actually save you money in the long run. This most often happens by a client receiving lower fines, a reduction in the initial charge, a shortened probation sentence, a possible dismissal, or not guilty verdicts.
